The Presidential Committee for Civil Peace meets with the Director of Hebron Police

Al-Khalil – Ma’an – In the process of consolidating relations and emphasizing the importance of the police’s role in maintaining public order, and following up on issues that disturb the lives of citizens, such as shootings at citizens’ property.

The head of the Presidential Committee for Civil Peace, Fatah leader Lafi Ghaith, met with the committee members, economic advisor Ahmed Hassouna, the coordinator of the national forces in the Hebron Governorate, Major General Muhammad Al-Bakri, and the media figure Muhammad Al-Awiwi, and met with the director of the governorate’s police, Brigadier General Nasser Abu Hanani, in the presence of the director of public relations in the governorate’s police, Colonel Bashir Al-Natsheh.

During the meeting, many issues were reviewed that would preserve civil peace, social fabric, economic development, and protect citizens’ rights.

During the meeting, the role of the Palestinian police in protecting citizens and their rights, protecting institutions, preventing and combat
ing the phenomenon of encroachment on private property and shootings carried out by some “mercenaries” was emphasized, as well as the measures that the police could take to implement this, in light of the difficult political, economic and security conditions that we are going through.
