Ramallah – Together – Today, the police completed their preparations to welcome Eid Al-Adha.
The Public Relations and Media Department of the Police stated that, based on the instructions and directives of Mr. Major General Youssef Al-Helou, Director-General of the Police, the police completed their preparations to receive Eid Al-Adha, through a plan drawn up by the Central Operations Department that included many police procedures and tasks related to securing markets and religious rituals during the Eid pause and other days. Following up on the security and traffic situation in the markets, maintaining security and public order, and strengthening and intensifying foot and mobile patrols before and during the Eid holiday, with the support of the security services.
In addition to facilitating the movement of vehicles and citizens in markets and commercial complexes, while making the necessary transfers in coordination with municipalities and security services, raising the degree of readiness of the provinci
al police, securing and participating in religious celebrations and rituals, and following up on cases of begging, theft, and pickpocketing in markets and roads.
And follow up on entertainment places and coordinate with partner agencies to monitor food safety and municipal slaughterhouses for slaughtering sacrifices throughout the days of Eid, and deal with any developments and security situations before and during Eid, and work to prevent the launch of fireworks that pose a threat to the lives of citizens. These measures aim to provide an appropriate and calm festive atmosphere for citizens to receive the days. Eid with joy, safety and security.
The police called on fellow citizens to cooperate with the police officers and report any complaint that disrupts security and public order through the toll-free phone 100 or the nearest police station or police patrol.
