Baghdad, The Ministry of Defense confirmed that the NATO mission in Iraq will continue to work to raise the efficiency of all categories of the Iraqi armed forces.
A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated that the Military Inspector General, Lieutenant General Jassim Muhammad Alwan, received the representative of the NATO mission in Iraq.
During the meeting, according to the statement, they discussed joint cooperation between the NATO mission and the Ministry of Defense, activating special workshops to combat administrative and financial corruption, modernizing the principles of inspection and implementing them, and developing their work in a way that is commensurate with the development taking place in the armies of the world on scientific, professional and realistic foundations.
The two parties stressed, according to the statement, to continue working to raise the efficiency of all kinds of the Iraqi armed forces and to continue holding periodic meetings between the two parties.
