Manama – Together – With the participation of the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, the thirty-third edition of the Arab Summit will begin today, Thursday, in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
The President arrived yesterday in the Bahraini capital, Manama, to participate in the work of the Arab Summit, and he was received by the representative of the King of Bahrain for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, the National Security Advisor, and the Secretary-General of the Supreme Defense Council, Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He will deliver the Palestine speech, and will meet with a number of leaders and leaders participating in this summit.
The President is accompanied by: Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hussein Al-Sheikh, the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Muhammad Mustafa, the President’s Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs, Majdi Al-Khalidi, in addition to the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Bahra
in, Taha Abdul Qader.
The draft summit agenda includes an item on the Palestinian issue and the Arab-Israeli conflict, activating the Arab Peace Initiative, Israeli violations in the city of Jerusalem, supporting the budget of the State of Palestine and the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, the conditions of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees (UNRWA), and following up on settlement expansion, the apartheid wall, and detainees.
