The Arab League’s Economic and Social Council Meeting Begins with Qatar Participating

The 108th meeting of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League at the ministerial level began today at the Arab League General Secretariats headquarters.

The State of Qatar is participating in the meeting with a delegation chaired by HE Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League Salem bin Mubarak bin Shafi Al Shafi.

The meeting’s scheduled topics include preparing for the social and economic agenda for the 31st Arab League summit, in addition to the report of the Secretary-General on the activities of the council. There are also a number of articles on a major Arab free zone, and the developments of the Arab customs union.
