Teen Hub Concludes Final Stage of ‘The Experiment’ at National Museum of Qatar

Doha:More than 100 young members participated in 'The Experiment,' an educational initiative by Teen Hub at the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ).

According to Qatar News Agency, the event, titled Motherland: The Keeper's Quest, Stage C, was the culminating stage of an immersive, team-based mystery challenge. It aimed to engage youth as future museum keepers, transforming NMoQ's auditorium and galleries into interactive learning spaces. Participants explored Qatar's history and heritage through investigation, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.

Abdulrahman Al Ishaq, Director of Teen Hub, emphasized that the program reflects Qatar Museums' commitment to involving young people in cultural experiences. Through initiatives like The Experiment, members are encouraged to lead, contribute ideas, and engage meaningfully with museums.

The Experiment began with Stage A - Induction in February and Stage B - Parallel in April, forming part of a year-long journey aimed at fostering inclusion and engagement. Stage C further built on these objectives by enhancing participants' confidence, skills, and relationship with Qatar's museums and heritage.

Motherland: The Keeper's Quest was designed by youth for youth, challenging participants to collaborate, interpret clues, and solve puzzles inspired by Qatar's collections and national story. The experience encouraged careful examination of information, idea exchange, and connections between museum objects and their historical and cultural significance.
