Damascus: Syrian President, Ahmed Al Sharaa met Monday with President of Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, currently on a visit to Syria. Al Sharaa and Barzani discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination, as well as the evolving regional situation and a range of issues of shared concern.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides underscored the importance of continued coordination to support security and stability and strengthen regional cooperation in pursuit of mutual interests.
