Ibn Khaldun Center for Humanities and Social Sciences at Qatar University (QU) announced the “Ibn Khaldun Center Award for Interdisciplinary Studies,” which seeks to bridge the relationship between social sciences and forensic sciences.
A periodical entitled “Bridge” concerned exclusively with inter-studies in the social sciences, as well as holding several international conferences and symposia that discuss bridging the relationship between the various branches of human knowledge.
The conditions for participation in the competition are: First, that the inter-research between social sciences and forensic sciences be achieved by employing concepts, theories or approaches from the field of social sciences in the field of forensic sciences, or vice versa, secondly, that the research is related to one of the following social sciences: (Education/ Sociology / anthropology / psychology / management science / media), third, that the researcher adhere to the scientific methodology in writing the research of scientific originality and documentation, fourth, that the research has not been previously published, fifth, that the research is not less than ten thousand words.
The prize offered by the competition comes under the auspices of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the State of Qatar, and its value is ten thousand US dollars. In the event that two candidates win first place, the prize is divided equally between them.
It is worth noting that the deadline for submitting complete research is January 1, 2022, and the winner will be announced no later than March 1, 2022, and Ibn Khaldun Center alone will have the right to publish the winning work across its various platforms.
