Manama, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, met with Mona Al Maaloul, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of Tunisia to Bahrain.
Speaker Musallam commended the distinguished relations between Bahrain and Tunisia and the ongoing commitment to developing cooperation and supporting joint Arab efforts.
He highlighted the Arab parliamentary efforts to support the outcomes, recommendations, and resolutions of the 33rd Arab Summit, which was held in Bahrain and presided over by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The Speaker highlighted the keenness of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on enhancing cooperation with Tunisia. He emphasised the parliamentary commitment to strengthening relations, partnership for development, and coordination in parliamentary forums to serving common interests.
