South Korea, US, and Japan Conduct Air Drills in Response to North Korea Missile Launch

Seoul, South Korea announced that it conducted joint air exercises near the Korean Peninsula together with the United States and Japan.

The South Korea Ministry of National Defense stated that the air drills were conducted just hours after North Korea had launched a medium-range missile into the East Sea, adding that these air exercises are meant to deter North Koreas advanced nuclear and missile threats, in addition to enhancing the response capabilities of participant countries.
