Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, received Bob Thacker, President Thattai Hindu Merchants Community (THMC).
The minister commended the depth of the historical relations between Bahrain and India, pointing out that these relations that extend throughout history were embodied in the establishment of a number of civil organizations of Indian communities, that contribute to strengthening bilateral relations, and highlight the freedom of belief and cultural openness that characterises the two countries.
The meeting discussed topics that would contribute to supporting THMC’s development and social goals, as well as ways to develop its institutional performance.
Thacker expressed his appreciation to the ministry for its continuous keenness on empowering civil organizations.
