Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and UK Secretary of State discussed developments in Sudan over a telephone call.
Shoukry stressed the importance of reaching a cease fire agreement as soon as possible. He also said it was important that Egypt and the UK continued to coordinate and follow up on the efforts to contain the situation.
Cleverly expressed his country’s concern over the current developments and the deterioration of the security situation in Sudan.
