His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) received Ahmed Al Shaikh, Director and General Supervisor of the Ramadan program, “Kafu” along with the crew.
His Highness said that Bahrain is proud of its youth’s accomplishments that have reached regional and international levels, reflecting the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa with the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and with the support of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Personal Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs.
HH Shaikh Khalid praised “Kafu” achievements since it first aired in the holy month of Ramadan before moving to Saudi Arabia, where it continued its success in highlighting exemplary models in humanitarian and charity initiatives in Gulf societies from a different angle.
“Kafu” demonstrates Bahraini youth’s creativity and capabilities in the field of television and media production, His Highness said, adding that it was received by audiences in Bahrain and the GCC.
