Manama: Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, Second Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), emphasised the role of Bahraini youth in various domains and their efforts to contribute to sustainable development, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He highlighted the government's various programmes aimed at empowering the youth, in line with the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, highlighting the general policies, overseen by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of SCYS. In a statement marking Arab Youth Day, which is celebrated annually on July 5, Shaikh Daij bin Salman said that this occasion reflects the pride and support of Arab leaders for the youth.
