Shafallah Center to Exhibit Winning Disability Innovations in Doha

Doha:Four innovative projects aimed at improving the lives of people with disabilities will be showcased next Tuesday in Doha by the Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities during the "Shafallah Hackathon."

According to Qatar News Agency, the event is organized by Al Shafallah Center, a center affiliated with the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, in partnership with the Qatar Scientific Club. It coincides with World Cerebral Palsy Day and will feature projects created by school and university students.

The exhibition is a follow-up to the "Shafallah Hackathon," which featured eight projects from secondary school and university students. These projects were evaluated on criteria such as innovation, feasibility, and social impact.

The top four projects, which excelled in the school and university categories, will be displayed as they progress from the prototype phase towards further development and practical implementation. This exhibition will serve as an interactive platform for teams to present their innovations, showcasing the ideas and solutions they propose and their potential impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Additionally, the event will facilitate opportunities for collaboration with relevant entities to further develop the prototypes into practical and sustainable solutions. This initiative is part of Al Shafallah Center's ongoing efforts to foster innovation and create solutions to enhance the independence and quality of life for persons with disabilities.
