Gaza city: A number of Palestinians were martyred and injured since dawn on Monday in Israeli shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip, while homes continued to be destroyed in the Zeitoun neighborhood.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA), citing medical sources, reported that five citizens were martyred and others were injured when the Israeli occupation bombed a residential apartment on Al-Nafaq Street, north of Gaza City.

The same sources added that a woman and a child were martyred when Israeli aircraft targeted a home in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

They indicated that four people were martyred and others wounded and were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City, as a result of Israeli aircraft bombing a home near the Al-Ghazali junction in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

Meanwhile, smoke rises from a missile attack on the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, where residential buildings continue to be destroyed by booby-trapped robots.

Since Oct. 7, 2023, the occupation forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 63,459 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 160,256 others, according to a preliminary toll.

A number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
