Hala Al Ansari, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) received Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA).
The meeting discussed practical steps to facilitate the implementation of the “Tawazun” (balance) training program, which will be held in September, and initiatives to integrate women’s needs in development in line with the National Gender Balance Model.
The training program was one of the recommendations of the second National Gender Balance Report, with the aim of building and developing the capacities of equal opportunity committees in the public sector and relevant authorities to implement the national model.
Al Ansari highlighted the council’s interest in strengthening cooperation with BIPA to empower the role of women in society and implement the national model in various fields.
She congratulated Dr. Shaikha Rana on her appointment as the Director General of BIPA, wishing her success in her duties.
