Saudi, UK foreign ministers call for stopping military escalation in Sudan

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, today received a phone call from UK Foreign Secretary, James Cleverly.

According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the two sides discussed the course of events in the Republic of Sudan, with an emphasis on the importance of stopping the military escalation between the conflicting parties, ending the violence, and providing the necessary protection for Sudanese citizens and residents, in a way that guarantees the security, stability, and well-being of Sudan and its people.

The two sides also reviewed the deep-rooted relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields. They also discussed aspects of intensifying joint coordination on many issues of common interest.
