Manama, At an official invitation from Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, a delegation from the Saudi Shura Council, led by Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al Sheikh, is currently visiting Bahrain. This visit aims to support cooperation and joint parliamentary coordination. The visit came within the framework of the strong historical ties and advanced cooperation between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, that have been supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, with follow up from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The delegation will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Bahraini council of Representatives. The MoU aims to support and develop cooperation for the benefit of both countries a nd their peoples, enhance parliamentary cooperation regionally and internationally, and facilitate the exchange of expertise and visits between the two councils and their general secretariats.
