Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah discussed Thursday with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in the Chinese capital, Beijing, ways to strengthen bilateral relations in many fields, in addition to following up on steps to implement the agreement of the two countries signed in Beijing, including re-opening the embassies of the two countries during the agreed period, and discussing all ways to achieve security and prosperity for the two countries and peoples.
During the meeting, the two sides expressed their aspiration to intensify consultative meetings and discuss ways of cooperation to achieve more positive prospects for their relations in a way that serves their common interests. They also appreciated the People’s Republic of China for hosting this meeting. (QNA)
