Saudi Defense Minister, US National Security Advisor Discuss Developments in Gaza

Washington, Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz discussed at the White House Tuesday with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan regional and international developments, most notably the developments in Gaza and the international efforts made in this regard.

During the meeting, the Saudi Defense Minister affirmed the necessity of a ceasefire in Gaza, protecting civilians, stopping forced displacement, allowing the entry of humanitarian aid without obstacles, and working to restore the path of peace, in order to ensure that the Palestinian people obtain their legitimate rights and establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and the achievement of a just and comprehensive peace, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The two sides also discussed the latest developments of the Yemeni issue and the results of the Kingdoms efforts to end the Yemeni crisis and ensure a comprehensive and lasting peace that guarantees security and stability for Yemen and its people.
