Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Officials, Settlers’ Storming of Al Aqsa Mosque Compound

Doha: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has condemned in the strongest terms the storming of Al Aqsa Mosque compound by the Israeli Minister of National Security, officials, and settlers under the protection of the occupation forces. It reiterated its condemnation of the continued blatant violations of international law and the continued brutal and repeated attacks on the sanctity of Al Aqsa Mosque.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom’s categorical rejection of anything that would undermine the historical and legal status of Jerusalem and its holy sites. The statement, released on Tuesday, called on the international community to hold the Israeli occupation authorities accountable for their serious and ongoing violations against Islamic holy sites and innocent civilians in the State of Palestine.

More than 1,500 settlers and two ministers in the Israeli government stormed the Al Aqsa Mosque compound last Monday, amid tight security measures by the Israeli occupation forces.
