Jeddah:Hosts Saudi Arabia face Oman in Jeddah on Saturday as they look to secure a second successive victory and strengthen their position in Group A of the Gulf Cup.
According to Qatar News Agency, Saudi Arabia leads the group with three points after defeating Kuwait 1-0. Oman and Iraq have one point each following their 1-1 draw, while Kuwait is at the bottom without a point.
Oman needs a positive result to keep their semi-final hopes alive, while a win for Saudi Arabia would secure their place in the last four.
In the other Group A match, Iraq will face Kuwait, with both teams aiming for three points. A defeat would result in Kuwait's elimination from the competition.
