Moscow, Russia has requested voting in the UN Security Council on its draft resolution that calls for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Russia’s First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky wrote on Sunday on the X social network that Moscow requested the UN Security Council hold a vote on its draft of a humanitarian resolution on Gaza on Monday.
“We expect the Brazilian Presidency of the Council to confirm this shortly,” Polyanskiy wrote.
