Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense forces successfully intercepted 17 Ukrainian drones overnight across various regions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry's statement detailed the interceptions, highlighting that seven drones were downed over Bryansk Oblast, four over Tula, two over Kaluga, and one each over Belgorod and Voronezh. Additionally, drones were intercepted over the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
The ongoing conflict, which began on February 24, 2022, has led to frequent reports from both Russia and Ukraine, each claiming to have repelled attacks from the other side. However, these claims remain without independent verification due to the ongoing war conditions.
