qVodafone Qatar’s First-Half Profit Rises by 22% Amid Increased Service Revenue

Doha: Vodafone Qatar reported a 22% increase in net profit for the first half of the year, driven by higher service revenue and steady subscriber growth. The company posted a net profit of QAR 400.91 million ($110 million), up from QAR 328.62 million in the same period a year earlier.

According to Qatar News Agency, total revenue rose 3.1% year-on-year to QAR 1.8 billion, while service revenue increased 9.3% to QAR 1.59 billion. Vodafone Qatar mentioned that its mobile subscriber base reached around 2.1 million, marking a 0.8% increase compared with the same period in 2025.

In a statement published on the Qatar Stock Exchange on Tuesday, the company said earnings per share rose to QAR 0.095 for the six months ended June 30, compared with QAR 0.078 a year earlier.
