Doha: Qatar University (QU) organized its annual ceremony, the “Alumni Reunion 2025,” which featured a series of documentary, heritage, and historical segments. It also included an introduction to a range of exclusive services, benefits, activities, and distinguished university events, in addition to the establishment of a robust and supportive network that reinforces the successes of the graduates.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE President of QU Alumni Association, Dr. Sheikh Faleh bin Nasser Al-Thani, praised the association’s outstanding role in maintaining strong ties between alumni and their alma mater, and maintaining their enduring communication with it from their various workplaces.
Director of Outreach and Engagement at QU, Mohammed Al Mohannadi, highlighted the association’s essential role in connecting alumni with the university through year-round activities aimed at leveraging their expertise gained in various workplaces while also enabling them to benefit from the university’s continuous advancements in scientific and research fields.
For her part, Manager of Alumni Relations, Buthaina Ibrahim Lanaqwi, emphasized that the annual Alumni Reunion event is a significant occasion for university generations to reconnect, allowing graduates to foster a sense of belonging to the esteemed institution from which they all graduated.
The Alumni Reunion ceremony once again proved to be a remarkable gathering, reinforcing the strong link between past and present graduates and celebrating the university’s enduring role in shaping future leaders.
