QU HOSTS ITS 44TH GRADUATION CEREMONY IN OCTOBER

Under the patronage of the Emir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatar University (QU) will celebrate its Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2021 (male students) on Monday, 11 October 2021. The ceremony for distinguished female students will be held in the presence of HH Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani, wife of HH the Emir, on Tuesday, 12 October 2021.

Considering the current epidemic, safety and precautionary measures approved by the state will be undertaken during the event. Attendance will be limited to graduates and organizers, with the aim of maintaining adequate social distancing.

This year, early preparations were underway in order to facilitate the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2021, with a total of 3646 graduates, 2818 females and 828 males. The University will release further details about the event in the near future.

As QU graduates its 44th cohort of graduates, the university continues to chronicle a long history spanning decades in which it contributes heavily to Qatar’s development and prosperity, through boosting the labor market with qualified graduates.

QU’s new strategy places an emphasis on elevating the student experience by placing QU as a pioneer and a leading educational institution in the higher education sector in Qatar and abroad. QU is committed to providing quality education in areas of national priority, moving towards building a knowledge-based society.
