Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Sunday, gaining 43.04 points, or 0.38%, to reach 11,263 points compared to the previous session close.
According to Qatar News Agency, the upward momentum was supported by gains across all sectors. The Banks and Financial Services and Industrials sectors led the rally with an increase of 0.69%, followed by Insurance (+0.37%), Real Estate (+0.25%), Telecoms (+0.19%), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.02%), and Transportation (+0.01%).
As of 10:00 am, the QSE recorded a trading volume of 14.714 million shares, with a total turnover of QR 49.069 million executed across 2,646 transactions.
