Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 3.33 points, or 0.03%, at the beginning of trading on Monday, reaching the level of 9,795.74 points, compared to last closing.
The general index was supported by a rise in four sectors: Real Estate by 0.87%; Insurance by 0.82%; Transportation by 0.23%; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.07%. On the other hand, QSE index saw a decline in Telecoms by 0.02%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.14%; and Industrials by 0.22%.
By 10:00 am, 18.462 million shares were traded in 1,580 transactions valued QR 41.867 million.
