Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Thursday’s trading by 0.20%, gaining 21.75 points to reach 10,829 points, compared to the previous session’s close, backed by six sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains in Telecoms by 0.92%, Real Estate by 0.34%, Banks and Financial Services by 0.22%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.15%, Insurance by 0.05%, and Industrials by 0.02%. Meanwhile, Transportation declined by 0.06%.

By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 26.264 million from 8.867 million shares traded in 1,726 transactions.
