Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) experienced a slight increase of 0.32 points, or 0.00002%, at the beginning of trading on Sunday, reaching a level of 10,774 points, compared to its previous close.
According to Qatar News Agency, the QSE index displayed growth in sectors such as Transportation, which increased by 0.10%, and Telecoms, which rose by 0.01%. However, several sectors faced declines, including Banks and Financial Services which dropped by 0.06%, Industrials by 0.08%, Real Estate by 0.08%, Insurance by 0.09%, and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.20%.
By 10:00 am, the QSE saw a trading volume of 29.084 million shares, with a total trading value amounting to QR 51.536 million spread across 2,415 transactions.
