Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index experienced an upward movement on Thursday, closing with an increase of 95.70 points, or 0.89 percent, bringing the index to 10,903.17 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 90,933,306 shares being exchanged, amounting to a value of QAR 256,494,531.693. These transactions were conducted through 15,110 trades across all sectors.

The session concluded with the shares of 40 companies witnessing a rise, while the shares of 7 companies saw a decline. Meanwhile, 5 companies’ shares maintained their previous closing prices.

At the close of the trading session, the market capitalization reached QAR 651,704,672,128.118, showing an increase from QAR 646,572,296,435.346 observed in the previous session.
