Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Monday, with a gain of 73.75 points, or 0.67 percent, reaching a total of 11,162.54 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a total of 110,314,250 shares being traded, amounting to a value of QR 397,838,026.194, through 43,654 transactions across all sectors. The session observed an increase in the shares of 26 companies, while 21 companies saw a decline, and 6 companies maintained their previous closing price.

At the conclusion of the trading session, the market capitalization was recorded at QR 667,900,528,614.072, a rise from QR 664,353,484,076.090 in the previous session.
