QSCCB Holds Exhibition for Persons with Visual Impairments at Darb Al Saai

Doha: The Qatar Social and Cultural Center for the Blind (QSCCB) announced its participation in this year’s Darb Al Saai events, joining other national entities commemorating Qatar National Day (QND). This participation reflects the values of identity, heritage, and strengthened community engagement.

According to Qatar News Agency, QSCCB is presenting a specialized informational exhibition highlighting assistive tools and technologies for people with visual impairments. The aim is to raise awareness about mechanisms that support the blind and to showcase advancements in devices that aid them in learning, navigating, and integrating into daily life.

The center’s team is offering visitors hands-on demonstrations of these tools, illustrating how they enhance the independence of individuals with visual impairments. Visitors have the opportunity to try some of the interactive devices themselves.

The Center emphasized that its participation in Darb Al Saai is an important opportunity to introduce the community to services and technologies available to the blind. This initiative aims to promote a culture of inclusion and empowerment for people with visual impairments.
