Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Qatar’s leading digital bank, has announced the expansion of its Direct Remit Service to the Philippines and Pakistan, following the successful launch to India, enabling its customers to make seamless transfers within seconds.
The Direct Remit, commenced offering money transfer services for customers to India, evolving to now include the Philippines and Pakistan, is an innovative service designed to facilitate QIB customers’ remittance experience allowing them to transfer money to bank accounts within 60 seconds. The Direct Remit Service has been carefully integrated in the QIB Mobile App to provide customers the convenience to transfer money instantly in a fast and safe manner.
QIB has broadened their global offer and has followed similar methodology for the service expansion to Philippines and Pakistan. QIB collaborated with BDO Unibank for Philippines holding more 1,100 Branches and more than 3,800 ATMs and for Pakistan with Habib Bank LTD which has 1,650+ branches and 2,100+ ATMs across the Country and globally.
Customers can login to the QIB Mobile App and select their desired destination to add the beneficiary they want to send money to. Using the Transfers feature they can select an approved beneficiary to send the transaction for instant processing. The submitted transaction can be tracked for the status at any time, from anywhere in the world within 60 seconds and receive instant updates on the status of their transactions via SMS.
QIB has previously partnered with HDFC Bank, one of the largest banks in India providing 60 seconds transfer credit facility also holds a network of 5,500 branches and 15,400 ATMs spread across 2,850 cities enabling quick and easy transfers to any bank across the country and in more than 100,000 locations.

Available on App Store, Google Play, and Huawei AppGallery, customers can download the App and easily self-register using their active ATM/Debit Card number and PIN. The QIB Mobile App offers customers the ability to have full control of their accounts, cards, and transactions and to fulfill all their banking requirements remotely. In addition, QIB customers can open a new account, apply for personal financing, a Credit Card, or open additional accounts via the QIB Mobile App in only 5 minutes.
