Qatar’s Strategic Partnerships Strengthen Its Position as Financial Technology Hub

Doha: Qatari newspapers have highlighted the country’s efforts to expand its strategic partnerships with major global companies, aiming to bolster its position as a leading hub in financial technology.

According to Qatar News Agency, the editorials emphasized the meeting between HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and the Co-Founder and CEO of Snapchat Inc. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation, particularly in digital transformation, and other mutual interests.

The newspapers also reported on QatarEnergy’s new agreement with Egypt and Eni, which is part of QatarEnergy’s global expansion plans. This agreement grants QatarEnergy a 40% stake in the North Rafah exploration block offshore Egypt, aligning with Qatar’s strategy to strengthen international partnerships.
