New York:HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani met with HE United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Safety and Security Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert at the Permanent Mission's headquarters.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing cooperation relations between Qatar and the United Nations. Discussions centered on supporting and further developing these relations to serve shared priorities.
The meeting also addressed outcomes from the Under-Secretary-General for Safety and Security's recent visit to Doha. Her participation in the Global Security Forum 2026 and her visit to Milipol Qatar 2026, organized by Qatar's Ministry of Interior, were key topics of discussion.
