Qatar’s Global Embassies Witness Condolences for HH the Father Amir

Doha: Embassies of the State of Qatar abroad received an outpouring of condolences from mourners who extended their deepest sympathies following the passing of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. They prayed that God would grant the departed leader boundless mercy and forgiveness and eternal rest.

According to Qatar News Agency, in Jakarta, President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto offered condolences at the headquarters of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to Indonesia. Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Gibran Rakabuming Raka also offered condolences and participated in the absentee funeral prayer for the soul of HH the late Father Amir, held at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta.

In Nicosia, President of the Republic of Cyprus, Dr. Nikos Christodoulides, offered condolences at the headquarters of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to Cyprus. In Accra, President of the Republic of Ghana John Dramani Mahama expressed his sympathies at the headquarters of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to Ghana.

In Bandar Seri Begawan, Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office of the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam, Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah, offered condolences at the headquarters of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam. In Manila, Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines, Sara Duterte, paid her respects at the headquarters of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Philippines.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, offered condolences in Baku at the headquarters of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to Azerbaijan. In Riyadh, Governor of the Riyadh Region in Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, expressed his condolences at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Kingdom. Additionally, Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Protocol Affairs, Abdulmajeed bin Rashid Al Samari, conveyed condolences on behalf of the Saudi Foreign Minister at the Qatari Embassy in Riyadh.

In London, UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, Yvette Cooper, offered condolences at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the United Kingdom. In Ankara, Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkiye, Yasar Guler, extended his sympathies at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Turkiye.

In Santo Domingo, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations of the Dominican Republic, Francisco Caraballo, conveyed condolences on behalf of the government and people of the Dominican Republic at the Embassy of the State of Qatar. In Mexico City, Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States, Maria Teresa Mercado, offered condolences on behalf of her government at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Mexico.
