Doha, – Two Qatari students, Mohammed Jassim Al Harami from Ahmed Mansour Primary School for Boys, and Aisha Tamim Al Tamimi from Al Markhiya Primary School for Girls won the gold and silver medal, respectively, in the 1st Arab Championship of Mathematics and Logic Games held in Tunisia.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education aims through this participation to enhance logical-mathematical thinking, link it to life situations, discover talented students in this field, and work to encourage them, in addition to enhancing communication between creative students.
The Arab Championship of Mathematics and Logic Games is organized once every two years under the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO). It included the participation of all Arab countries with the aim of enriching the Arab-Islamic heritage in the field of mathematics and logic.
