The only way to achieve sustainable peace is a permanent ceasefire agreement that leads to serious talks and a political process that results in a comprehensive, lasting, and just settlement of the Palestinian issue in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, the papers said.

Al-Raya newspaper stated that Qatar’s diplomatic talks with international partners and organizations stem from Qatar’s principle of resolving crises through mediation and peaceful means.

Over the past 10 months, Qatar has spared no effort in seeking a lasting solution to the crisis. On Monday, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs received a phone call from HE US Secretary of State, and for the second time in days, from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, where they discussed the latest developments i

Similarly, HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs echoed the same sentiment in London.

Al-Raya concluded by stating that Qatar has affirmed that the aggression, assassination, or escalation will not lead to the rel
ease of Israeli hostages nor bring security and stability to the region or the citizens of Israel. Serious negotiations are the only way to lead to a fair solution acceptable to all.

Al-Sharq newspaper said that amid the highly concerning developments in the Middle East, Qatari diplomacy is working to prevent the expansion of violence and stop the bloodshed in Gaza, renewing its call for all parties to de-escalate and exercise maximum restraint.

Alongside diplomatic efforts, Qatar continues its humanitarian support for Gaza. HE Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Doha condemns the systematic Israeli targeting of UNRWA and stresses the necessity of providing sufficient funding for the agency, noting Qatar’s increase in funding to the agency by 25 million USD.
