In turn, Al-Raya newspaper expressed deep concern that the most dangerous thing that can befall the international community is normalizing the Israeli aggression and accepting the occupation’s brutal crimes in Gaza, especially those that target hospitals in open wars waged by the occupation against the Palestinian presence in Gaza.

The newspaper highlighted that the Israeli occupation forces have been increasingly targeting hospitals, killing and tormenting those inside and forcing them out, prompting the world to intervene to evacuate them without holding the aggressor accountable for its crimes, referring to the catastrophe that befell Al-Shifa Medical Complex, the Strip’s largest hospital, which has been turned into a military barracks. Today, we are witnessing yet another catastrophe at the Indonesian hospital, under the pretext of the alleged presence of the resistance’s headquarters. Israel has begun intimidating those inside by bombing, resulting in more than 12 fatalities, the injuries of others, and the destruction of the premise.

Al-Raya praised Qatar’s strong condemnation of the Israeli crime, considering it an extension of the occupation’s approach in targeting hospitals, schools, and civilian population centers in the Gaza Strip, deeming this a blatant violation of international laws and agreements, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention.

In conclusion, Al-Raya expressed its deep regret that the world allows the brutal Israeli crimes against civilians and civilian infrastructure in Gaza to go unpunishment or with no investigation into the false and fabricated allegations made by the occupation regarding the presence of weapon depots, military headquarters, tunnels, or even prisoners within hospitals, schools, and mosques. The Indonesian hospital now awaits protection from the international community.

In turn, the English-language newspaper The Peninsula expressed that as Israels latest aggression against Palestine approaches 50 days of siege, bombardment, and wanton killings of civilians, including women, children, the elderly, and the most vulnerable people, the international communitys role or lack thereof remains a puzzle.

In its editorial titled “Insult to Humanity,” that paper said that the devastation and violence in the wake of the occupation armys actions have led several United Nations agencies, even the secretary-general, to lament attacks on safe places for civilians.

The Israeli occupation continues its intense and unprecedented aggression for the 45th day on the occupied Palestinian territory. Israel has also cut off water and electricity, blocking the entrance of medicine, food supplies, and vital help, which accentuates the complexity and danger of the humanitarian situation of civilian lives, the paper added.

The fact that this is being done in a world where international laws are stipulated shows the divide between who is held accountable and who isnt, the paper noted.

In conclusion, The Penisula said that theres no justification for taking innocent lives, and it is indeed a shame to humanity if this aggression goes on without repercussions.
