In its editorial, Al-Raya newspaper said that Qatar and Iran share model relations, grounded in principles of mutual respect and common interests. The bilateral relations between Doha and Tehran have always been and continue to be, exemplary, reflecting the principles of solidarity and good neighborliness. These relations are in line with the unique historical ties between Qatar and Iran, which have always set an example, especially during pivotal moments in the region’s history. The historic visit of HE President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian to Doha gave a new boost to strengthening cooperative relations, as it included direct talks between the leaderships of both countries on various issues of mutual interest.

The newspaper highlighted the reaffirmation of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani that the Qatari-Iranian talks addressed the difficult and critical circumstances the region is currently facing, particularly in light of the ongoing aggression against Gaza and Lebanon
. Qatar calls on the international community to take urgent action to compel the Israeli occupation authorities to stop their brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip . In this context, His Highness reiterated that mediation and dialogue are the best ways to resolve all disputes and face the various challenges the region is experiencing. HH emphasized Qatar’s commitment to mediation as a strategic choice to stop the war on Gaza.

Al-Raya concluded its editorial by saying that the State of Qatar has always believed that dialogue is the only way to resolve disputes, especially with Iran, given the historical ties and geographic proximity. There is no doubt that the direct talks and exchange of viewpoints between the leaderships of the two countries regarding regional issues, particularly in these critical times, highlight the significant diplomatic roles played by Doha and Tehran in favor of global security and stability.

In another matter, The Peninsula newspaper said that Qatar is hosting the 3rd Asia Cooperation
Dialogue (ACD) Summit Thursday under the theme Sports Diplomacy, noting that ACD aims to consolidate Asian strengths and fortify Asias competitiveness by maximising the diversity and rich resources the continent possesses.

The newspaper said in its editorial titled “Promoting Asian Cooperation ” that Doha also hosted ACD Business Forum Wednesday under the theme AI and New Businesses.

It highlighted the speech of HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani, who emphasized in his opening remarks that Qatar is keen to enhance economic, commercial, and investment cooperation with Asian countries. HE pointed to the close relations between Qatar and the ACD countries, covering various fields, especially economic and commercial.

The Peninsula concluded its editorial by saying that the ACD Summit in Doha will go a long way in consolidating and further enhancing cooperation among the Asian economies and tapping the huge potential for the benefit of billions of people of Asia.
