Doha: Qatari newspapers covered various topics in their editorials on Monday, focusing mainly on HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani’s congratulations to HE President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on his re-election for a second presidential term.
The editorials also noted that the State of Qatar prioritized education as a fundamental pillar of development in all countries, explaining that this was not limited to the high standards of education provided within the State, as Qatars commitment extends globally, especially through the efforts of HH Chairperson of Education Above All and UN Sustainable Development Goals Advocate Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. The newspapers focused on Assalam School, which was established through Education Above All (EAA) Foundation’s “Together Project” that aims to provide quality education and training to Palestinian children and youth who have been deprived of formal education opportunities because of the ongoing war on Gaza.
The new
spapers also covered HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani meeting with HE Prime Minister of the Republic of Yemen Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, who is currently visiting the country.
In its editorial, Al-Watan said that Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has been re-elected for a new term in the presidential elections held on Saturday.
The newspaper emphasized the deep relations between Qatar and Algeria, noting that HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a cable of congratulations to HE President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on his re-election for a second presidential term, underscoring the strong bond between the two countries.
Al-Watan concluded by saying that Algeria has always been a supporter of Arab issues, particularly concerning Palestine.

This focus on education guarantees the advancement of development in these countries, making it one of the most sustainable forms of aid, as it prepares new generations to lead their countries’ development.
Al-Arab highlighted the efforts of HH Chairperson of Education Above All and UN Sustainable Development Goals Advocate Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, adding that the Education Above All Foundation established Assalam School as one of its major initiatives in Qatar through the “Together Project” which aims to provide quality education and training to Palestinian children and youth who have been deprived of formal education opportunities because of the ongoing war on Gaza.

irm commitment to providing education for all, adding that Doha continues to support initiatives aimed at eradicating illiteracy worldwide, as it is one of the key pillars of comprehensive development and social justice.
