Dushanbe, The State of Qatar and the Republic of Tajikistan signed a number of agreements on mutual legal and judicial assistance in criminal matters, the extradition of accused persons, and the transfer of convicts between the two countries.
The agreement was signed by HE Attorney-General Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi, who is visiting Tajikistan, and HE Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahmon Yusuf Ahmadzod.
On the sidelines of signing the agreement, views were exchanged on a number of issues of common interest and ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the legal and judicial fields.
The meeting and signing of the agreement was attended by HE the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Tajikistan Mubarak bin Abdurrahman Al Nasr and the delegation accompanying HE the Attorney-General.
