Qatar Stock Exchange Index Loses 20 Points at Beginning of Sunday’s Trading

Qatar Stock Exchange index lost 20.41 points at the beginning of Sunday’s trading, or 0.20 %, to fall to the level of 9985 points, compared to last Thursday’s closing, under pressure from various sectors except for the telecommunications sector.

Qatar Stock Exchange data indicated that the negative performance of the general index is due to a decline in the performance of the industrial sector by 0.43 %, the goods and consumer services sector by 0.36 %, the bank and financial services sector by 0.31 %, the transportation sector by 0.25 %, the real estate sector by 0. 09 %, and the insurance sector by 0.09 %. On the other hand, the telecommunications sector rose by 1.85 %.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth 44.566 million riyals, distributed to 18.680 million shares, with the implementation of 1797 transactions.
