Qatar Stock Exchange index started its transactions Thursday in the green zone, adding 24.93 points, an increase of 0.24%, to reach the level of 10238 points, compared to the end of Wednesday’s trading with the support of four sectors.
Figures issued by Qatar Stock Exchange showed an improvement in the performance of the insurance sector by 0.90%, the bank and financial services sector by 0.53%, the real estate sector by 0.37%, and the industrial sector by 0.15%.
On the other hand, the telecommunications sector decreased by 0.22%, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.59%, and the transportation sector by 1.24%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth QR 55.061 million, distributed among 21.527 million shares, with the implementation of 2536 transactions. (QNA)
