Doha: The Qatar Society of Engineers (QSE) will organize the Qatar International Facility Management Conference and Exhibition (QIFMCE) 2025 from October 19 to 21 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). The event aims to serve as a global platform that merges national vision with international expertise, featuring over 40 speakers and experts from 11 countries. These experts will deliver insights on facility management, renewable energy, digital transformation, and environmental sustainability, aligning with Qatar National Vision 2030 (QNV 2030).
According to Qatar News Agency, the conference will commence with an opening session focusing on QNV 2030 and its integration with facility management. The session will bring together national and real estate entrepreneurs. The event is organized with the support of strategic partners and major sponsors from both national and international institutions, showcasing the collaboration between public and private sectors in driving innovation and sustainability.
Eng. Ahmed Khaled Al Sumaiti, Vice President of QSE and chair of the conference, emphasized that the event represents a specialization in facility management. It aims to address key issues, challenges, and technologies faced by service providers and building owners while exploring efficient management and sustainability in both public and private sectors. Over 60 companies are expected to participate, with papers presented by experts addressing challenges and solutions in facility management.
During a press briefing, several QSE officials outlined the main themes and objectives of the conference and exhibition, highlighting their role in supporting the facility management sector and promoting innovative solutions in renewable energy and sustainable technologies. Eng. Saud Abdullah Al Dulaimi and Eng. Ammar Anabtawi joined Al Sumaiti in providing a comprehensive overview of the conference’s objectives and strategic significance, positioning it as a platform that combines engineering innovation with smart facility management and sustainable energy.
The officials noted that the conference represents a strategic pivot toward the future, where minds converge to innovate solutions and shape sustainable urban and technological development in Qatar and the region. The event will feature over 29 scientific and research papers covering advanced topics such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence applications, green energy planning, and building performance linked to human experience.
The conference will also address the strategic application of the facility management lifecycle, market challenges, technology and innovation, and the management of sports venues post-World Cup. Additional sessions will cover artificial intelligence, emerging regulations, innovation, and cybersecurity in facility management.
QSE has invited engineers, experts, investors, and stakeholders in the facility, energy, and advanced technology sectors to participate in this event. The conference will showcase the latest solutions and technologies in facility management, renewable energy, and LED innovations with extensive participation from leading companies and institutions.
