Qatar Science and Technology Park Strengthens Global Presence at Web Summit Qatar 2026

Doha: Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP), a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, is participating as a Diamond Partner in Web Summit Qatar 2026, reaffirming its commitment to positioning Qatar as a global hub for deep technologies, artificial intelligence, and impact-driven innovation.

According to Qatar News Agency, QSTP has announced its participation in the summit, scheduled to be held from February 1 to 4 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. The objective is to support the growth of startups, connect them with investors and international partners, and contribute to global dialogue on artificial intelligence and innovation ecosystems, while highlighting the Middle East's expanding role in the export of intellectual property.

Rama Chakaki, President of QSTP, emphasized that the park brings together founders, investors, and operators to develop frontier technologies and facilitate their transition from research to real-world application. She stated that QSTP's involvement in Web Summit Qatar 2026 underscores its commitment to enhancing Qatar's position as a global destination for deep tech and innovation with tangible impact.

As part of its participation, QSTP will showcase its programs at a dedicated pavilion, host specialized workshops, and present 30 incubated startups, in addition to highlighting 24 supported companies within the summit's startup zone. Chakaki will also participate in a panel discussion titled "Why You Can't Ignore the Middle East in 2026," while Hayfa Al Abdulla, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Director at QSTP, will deliver a training session focusing on the practical application of artificial intelligence and value creation.

Additionally, QSTP will organize a side event titled "The Future Is Female: Investment, Leadership and Impact" on February 3, aimed at highlighting women's leadership and strengthening links between founders and investors.
