Qatar Radio Celebrates 57th Anniversary as a Pillar of Arab Media

Doha: Qatar Radio celebrates today the 57th anniversary of its launch over the airwaves, marking a significant milestone in its journey as a prominent media entity in the Arab world. Since its inception, Qatar Radio has been a vital voice from Doha, reaching audiences globally and transmitting the cultural and historical essence of the nation. The radio station continues to play a pivotal role in broadcasting the country’s values, heritage, and aspirations for a brighter future.

According to Qatar News Agency, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, during a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian, firmly condemned the Iranian missile attack on Qatar’s Al-Udeid Air Base, which occurred on Monday. The conversation underscores the regional tensions and Egypt’s stance against acts of aggression in the Gulf region.

Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Khater, Director of the GCC-Criminal Information Center to Combat Drugs, highlighted the growing complexity of the global drug problem.
